  1. dwi

Hi, i want to monitor my catfish pond. So I wonder if the sensor can stay in water for some month/ long term immersion.

    • Patrick

Yes, the sensors can be submerged up to the BNC connector and will work well for weeks/months without servicing. You’ll want to re-calibrate every few months. Also, make sure your probe does not get any direct sunlight as algae growth on the electrode can influence measurements negatively.

  2. Veerapong

Can this sensor be used on arduino boards?

    • Hans Muster

The sensor can’t be used on an Arduino directly. The Arduino ADC is not capable of it. You attach the probe to an EZO circuit which outputs the data in UART (serial or I2C). Most convenient is to use our Tentacle Shield with an EZO pH plugged into it.

Works flawlessly, it’s used 24/7 in a hydroponics setup without problems.
